In 2020, at the height of the pandemic, Hampton Roads restaurateur Ashok Arora decided it was a good time to experiment. He had been successful with a chain of Nawab restaurants, but wanted to try something new. Amiraj is the result of that experiment, an inspired Indian menu, served in a modern stylish atmosphere.

The logo and collateral pieces, paired with the tagline “A fresh take on Indian cuisine,” embody the essence of Ashok’s vision. The logo’s modern typeface and color palette pay homage to traditional Indian aesthetics while embracing contemporary design, striking a perfect balance between old and new. The supporting collateral reinforces this fusion, creating a cohesive and unified brand identity.
